Varun Dhawan’s “Baby John” Taster Cut Leaves Fans and Celebrities Awestruck
The much-anticipated taster cut of Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film “Baby John” has finally been released, and it’s already making waves in the Bollywood industry. Directed by Atlee and produced by Jio Studios, A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios, the film is a Hindi remake of Atlee’s Tamil movie “Theri” and stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff.
The taster cut, which was released online on November 4th and has been playing in theaters since November 1st, showcases Varun Dhawan in a never-before-seen avatar. In the film, Varun plays the role of a fierce cop who is also a devoted father and a skilled chef. The teaser opens with a young girl’s voice saying, “If we stand united, we can fight the biggest enemy,” setting the tone for the high-octane action that follows.
Varun’s character is shown fighting thugs and delivering powerful dialogues, highlighting his massy and heroic persona. The biggest twist comes when Jackie Shroff makes a menacing appearance, promising an incredible matchup between the two actors.
Celebrities have been quick to praise the taster cut. Alia Bhatt shared the teaser on her Instagram story, exclaiming, “Wow wow wow wow!!! What is happening!!! The film also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles, with S Thaman providing the electrifying background score. Produced by Priya Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande, “Baby John” is set to hit theaters on December 25th, 2024.
